Waterboy Movie Blog
I am doing my blog on the movie The
Waterboy. The Waterboy is a pretty funny
movie, that stars Adam Sandler. It is a
comedy movie about a guy being a water boy for a college football team. The coach got mad at him, and fired him for the
team as the water boy. He then goes to
another college campus to be their water boy.
While he is there he gets tired of them picking on him, and tackles the
quaterback. The coach of that school
then wants him to play football for their school.
The movie is a comedy. It doesn't really have any bad words in it so
it’s appropriate for kids to watch. The
movie is very entertaining with a lot of action. I feel the one bad thing about the movie is
how they are mean to the water boy. At
the end of the movie though it is good, because they all come together to win
the championship.
The Waterboy took place in
Louisiana. Adam Sandler plays Bobby also
known as The Waterboy in this movie. He
was the water boy for one college team for like 15 years until he was fired by
the team’s head coach. He then tried to
be a water boy elsewhere. He goes to
another college football team to be the water boy for that team. This is where bobby gets mad tackles the
teams quarterback on his first day as being the water boy for this team. After the coach seen how he hit the
quarterback he wanted him to play football for his team. They had to go meet with his mom, and she
didn’t want him to play. Bobby decided
that he still would play football behind his mom’s back. He becomes the best player in football with
setting records for sacks. He helps the
SCLSU Mud Dogs stop their 40 something game losing streak. He helps the team win every game that years
except the first one of the year. He
also goes to college in the movie as well.
When the SCLSU Mud Dogs win the final game of the year they have a party
for them going to the championship game.
That game is against the team the water boy used to be water boy
for. The head coach of that team came
out to the party, and said that Bobby was disqualified from playing in the championship
game. He was disqualified, because he
had a fake high school transcript. Bobby
then had to go prove to everybody he could pass his high school equivalency
test. He passed his test then he decides
to not play in the championship game at first, because his mom was sick in the
hospital. On the day of the championship
game his mom wakes up, and talks to him about how she was hiding him from the
world. His mom then tells him lets go
play foosball with you friends. Bobby’s
girlfriend then makes the air boat they have superfast so they can make the
football game. His team was getting beat
without Bobby being there playing in the game.
He arrives at half time and tells his team remember when Bobby showed up
at half time and the Mud Dogs won the Bourbon Bowl. The team gets all excited he was there and
the quarterback apologizes to him for giving him crap all year. The team then went out and won the
championship game.
I remember being a child watching
this movie it was always one of my favorite movies. I really liked Adam Sandler movies when I was
growing up. I think Adam Sandler is a
funny guy and makes great movies. He
does kind of play the same character in a lot of his movies. Waterboy movie blog
